Per'Bat page 234
... the pencils.
Per'Bat page 227-228
These are the pencils for page 227 and 228.
It's full page because that looks nice in book form. For the web version, it's been cut in half, to keep the oblong format I've been using since the beginning.
My previous NaNoMangO
NaNoManGo time is coming! And I've almost built up enough of a buffer of Per'Bat to participate. I'm looking forward to give it another go. The plan is to continue on the story I did for the previous versions, and for those who feel like catching up, I've revisited them a bit.
I felt that there were three major issues with the previous installments: the scans were lousy at times, the text hard to read in some places, and they're spread over four different webpages, which makes it annoying to just sit back and read them. So I rescanned them all, lettered it by computer and bundled it all in one handy PDF. Added bonus, a cover.
Of course there's a lot of other things I'd have liked to tweak while I was at it, but I felt that would defeat the NaNoMangO idea. If you feel relettering it already does that as well, just hide the Text layer.
It's available on my website.
Outcast Studios Minizine #11
The eleventh installment of the Outcast Studios Minizine has been released. It contains among others work by @eyzmaster.
You can download it for free here.
Outcast Studios Minizine
Ten editions of the Outcast Studios Minizine have already been made. It is a free to download minizine featuring short comics made by comic enthusiasts, in a wide variety of styles and topics.
It's time for the summer edition of the Outcast Studios Minizine! And for that, I need comics. Are you, like me, someone who needs a bit of a deadline to make something, why not make something for the minizine? I'm aiming for the end of August.
Per'Bat is back
... on wednesdays... :)
Done, apart from all those little things I'll be wanting to fix when I look at it in the morning.

Some more progress:
Why I didn't restart the weekly updates on Per'Bat yet? Two reasons. One is that I'm building up a bit of a buffer, so that I can draw scenes as a whole instead of doing a page a week.
The other is that I'm working on my part for a project called "Drawn!", which assembles a deck of cards with each card being drawn by a different comic artist or illustrator. Here's a little work in progress:
(I'm not doing the 10 of spades, by the way, this is just a template I use to have an idea for positioning.)
Deel 4 van Per'Bat is verschenen
And it's off to the printer's! :D
It's scheduled for the comic festival in Knokke-Heist, the 22nd of May.
Silence on the Per'Bat front...
... because I've put it on hold to rework part two. Redraw some really terrible parts, rework the blacks, reletter it... in short, make it ready for print. :)
Outcast Studios Minizine #10
There's a new issue of the Outcast Studios Minizine, a free to download minizine containing five different comics.
